Laura Yoder

The Lord has allowed dance to be a major part of my life and has taught me to use it to worship Him. I started dancing with The Joy of Dance when I was ten years old. Even at a young age, I knew that I did not want to dance to bring attention to myself, for for the glory of our King. The Lord grew that in me and allowed me to dance in an environment that encouraged my walk with Him. I began teaching when I was in high school, and continued dancing with The Joy of Dance until I left for Belhaven University, where I received my BA in Dance in 2009. It is a joy to be able to teach excellenece in techniques, while having teh opportunity to be Christ's hand and feet to His children. My heart is to contune to dance and to teach students what I have learned in dance, and trhough it bring honoro to my Savior.
